Funcry is a place for a quick laugh, for ages 13 and up. We feature lighthearted humor, funny animals, playful sketches and wholesome surprises.
What belongs here
- Vertical YouTube Shorts up to three minutes, with a clear original source and creator credit.
- Harmless silliness, relatable comedy and animal antics.
- Content suitable for a 13+ audience.
What doesn’t
- Sexual or explicit content, nudity or fetish content.
- Gore, graphic violence, dangerous stunts or encouragement of self-harm.
- Hate, harassment, humiliation, bullying or cruelty to people or animals.
- News, politics, advertising or general uploads without a clear humor focus.
Discovery and review
We refresh selected comedy creators throughout the day and can discover recent popular comedy using YouTube’s Data API when connected. Clips must appear in YouTube’s vertical Shorts format and allow public embedding. When detailed metadata is available, we additionally check exact duration and YouTube’s family-safe flag. When server-side details are unavailable, we require a matching recent public RSS entry and public embed metadata from the selected creator. Shorts are limited by YouTube to three minutes; we do not invent an exact duration when it is unavailable. We filter inappropriate titles and hold questionable material for review. Eligible Shorts publish automatically after format, restriction and humor checks. Questionable results, including prank and adult-themed descriptions, wait for review. Human holds and rejections are respected. These metadata checks do not inspect every frame or guarantee suitability. A 13+ label describes our editorial target; it is not a formal content rating.
